Mitigate your organization's emissions

The Climate Trust’s Business and Organization Offset Program is designed to help you meet your goals in responding to climate change. As an experienced buyer in the U.S. and World offset markets, we are dedicated to ensuring that our offsets are of the highest quality, and will result in verifiable emissions reductions.

The first step is to calculate your organization’s carbon footprint.

Calculate your impact. You can download our Business and Organization Offset Tool (350kb, automated PDF) to assist you in measuring your impact. Downloading the tool is free and does not obligate you to purchase offsets from The Climate Trust. For a full description of the calculations used, download our Calculations Explained PDF. Our calculators require Adobe Acrobat Reader version 7.0 or newer.

Offset your emissions. Once you know the size of your carbon footprint, you can choose to offset some or all of your emissions. If you choose to make a donation to The Climate Trust, we will invest your contribution in real and verified, high-quality offsets. We will also send you a receipt for your donation, a certificate in recognition of your commitment, and an annual update on the projects your donation helps support.

To make a tax-deductible donation, send a check to the address listed below. Be sure to include your organization's name, contact information, and the number of tons you wish to offset.
